Spike in Rainbow Sherbet Sales Brings Optimisim to Producers

In a year when economic turmoil and the slow recovery of our nation caught major headlines, optimism has been returned to the Rainbow Sherbet Industry. In a recent statement released by Sherbet Inc. it seems their fourth quarter sales jump dramatically as 2011 came to a close.

“It was great to see,” said Henry Barron, the spokesman for Sherbet Inc. “Throughout 2010 and most of 2011 we believed our industry was tanking, I was even starting to apply for jobs at the local fast food restaurants, but thankfully our sales spiked and our profits went through the roof.”

The profits of Sherbet Inc. were not hard to spot. Upon entering their headquarters employees can be seen frolicking through mounds of cash and eating rainbow sherbet to their heart’s content. It has been a gigantic turnaround for the company who, just last year, was the center of a major frozen-dessert related scandal.

Pictures released to the public in 2010 showed several Sherbet Inc. employees munching on pints of Blue Bunny Mint Chocolate Chip. The employees were promptly fired and Sherbet Inc. still refuses to comment on the pictures.

“All I’ll say is, that what happened last year is behind us. We’re looking to the future and are extremely optimistic about our sales in the coming future.”

Barron does have reason to celebrate, it is clear in the sales graph released Sunday that rainbow sherbet may have in fact returned to popularity.

Whether Sherbet Inc. can stay as a top producer of sherbet remains to be seen. But one thing is clear, SHERBET IS BACK! Massey out.
