When we see something great across the internet there comes a need for it to be shared. So when I spotted Derrick Smith’s Zombie 5K idea on the blog ‘Geek Out!’ I was immediately filled with two desires. One, I must do this. And two, everyone must do this.
Inspired by popular culture and Smith’s love for zombies he has created a race in which you are running for fun, and to live. Well, not exactly, but the zombie hoards that roam the 5K are after your flags – similar to flag football – and once they take them you are infected, and therefore ineligible for prizes after the race.
This is one of the greatest things I have seen on the internet all day, and you should be as excited as me. Massey out.
